The Model 5AS series Current Transformers are traditional 5A output current ratio instrument transformers, standard and
custom made to order. All CTs are UL Listed per UL2808, IEC61010-1 and will meet the accuracy requirements of C57.13-
2008. Since they are UL Listed under E361441, the 5AS can be field installed without prior approval with compatible energy
meter. The ratio accuracy of ±1.2% full scale is standard but other accuracy classes of 0.6% and 0.3% using a known burden
is provided by the customer. The lead length and wire size affect the overall accuracy. Meter burden, lead length over 8 feet
and wire gauge required when ordering.
